HUGE congratulations to Crestwood Elementary scholars, staff and CAPT - we were successful in achieving our fundraising goal - total raised $16,101 so far - and we had a blast doing it!
Now for some more fun! Meeting our goal means:
Inflatables Extravaganza (Thursday, October 22nd!). We need volunteers during the day to help make this a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all. Please consider signing up for one of the open times if you are available —> Inflatables Extravaganza Volunteer Sign-up. Some of the classes are covered by staff, so only the classes that need support are listed. Thank you so much ahead of time!

Your Voice Matters: Join Us for Our Next CAPT Meeting!

We’re kicking off a new school year with great energy on the CAPT Board, and we’d love to bring even more Crestwood families into the conversation!
Our October CAPT meeting is a chance to hear what’s happening at Crestwood, ask questions, share your ideas, and help shape what comes next. You don’t need to be a board member, a regular volunteer, or even know exactly what you want to say. We simply want you to feel welcome and have a seat at the table.
New Social Emotional Learning Curriculum
Principal Kelly Lawler will join us to share more about Crestwood’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and what families can expect this year.
Let’s Talk Technology
We know many families have questions about Chromebooks, screen time, and technology use in elementary school. Kelly will talk about how technology policies can vary between individual schools and the district, as well as what Crestwood is specifically planning.
Share Your Ideas
One of the most valuable things you can do as a Crestwood family is tell us where you think our time, energy, and resources should go.
Nothing is set in stone. CAPT is at its best when we bring together different perspectives and work together to find meaningful ways to support our students and school community.
Have a question or idea you’d rather share anonymously? Our suggestion box will be available at the meeting, too.
Bring the Kids!
We’ll have volunteer childcare in the cafeteria, along with pizza and snacks during the meeting, to make it a little easier for families to join us.

Literati is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading and offers a high-quality, diverse, and affordable selection of books for readers of all ages.

Tuesday, November 3: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
The book fair will be open during parent-teacher conferences, making it a wonderful opportunity for families to shop and discover new books together!

Did you see it? At Back to School Night, some of you saw the amazing artwork your student created for Crestwood’s annual Square 1 Art Fundraiser. A big THANK YOU to Mr. B for helping with the fundraiser by fostering the creative artist inside every student. Crestwood’s artwork is packaged and on its way to be digitized.
