The Cricket Dash is Coming to Crestwood on Thursday October 8th! Mark your calendars for an afternoon of fun as we cheer on students in 4K-5th grade. Families are invited to attend the event to celebrate our school community. In addition, this is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we need your help to make it a success.
Pledge envelopes went home on Friday in your child’s Friday Folder. Directions are inside the envelope sharing how to set-up an online account (3 easy steps!) or they are also attached here. Cash/check donations can be collected in the envelope and returned to Crestwood by October 15th.
Cricket Dash Schedule
3rd, 4th, 5th Graders

1:00-1:15 pm - Warm-ups
1:15-1:45 pm - Cricket Dash!
1:45 - Transition back to class
4K students*, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd Graders

2:00-2:15 pm - Warm-ups
2:15-2:45 pm - Cricket Dash!
2:45 - Transition back to class
*Families of 4K students who wish to participate would need to return to the Crestwood lower field and stay for the duration of the Cricket Dash
*Kinder-2nd grade students may get signed out by a guardian immediately after the event by speaking to the classroom teacher

Save the date for our fall semester CAPT meeting! This is an opportunity for parents to ask questions, share ideas and feedback, learn more about what’s ahead, and have a voice in the events and initiatives that CAPT supports throughout the school year.
At October’s meeting, Principal Kelly Lawler will join us to share more about the new SEL curriculum being introduced at Crestwood and discuss how technology is being used in our school. We know these are topics many families have questions about, so we hope you’ll take advantage of the opportunity to hear directly from our principal and ask questions.
All Crestwood families are welcome to attend. Come for the information, stay for the conversation!
Childcare will be provided by a local volunteer group, and pizza and snacks will be served!
